Hi, I'm Marisol! You can call me Mari.

BACKGROUND
​​​After earning my B.S.  in Psychology in 2020, I moved to Castellón, Spain to work as an English Language Assistant at a local school. In this role, I developed engaging learning materials for K-6 students, using and improving skills in content creation, design, and adapting messaging for diverse audiences. 

When I returned to Colorado, I worked as an HR Coordinator for two years, where I balanced traditional HR duties with creative projects like designing newsletters, flyers, and email campaigns. This role made me realize my love for design and problem-solving, and it ultimately led me to pursue a career in graphic design, user research, and data visualization. 

WHAT I DO NOW
To further my skills, I completed the Google UX/UI Design Certificate, a 6-month intensive program teaching design principles and user-centered thinking. I’m currently focused on building my portfolio and expanding my skill set, while working in an HR / Office Coordinator role. In my free time, I’ve been gaining hands-on experience with web and app testing on the User Testing platform, helping companies optimize their digital products and enhance user experiences.

I am a Colorado native that enjoys creating art & music, reading, hiking, camping, and playing video games. When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring the outdoors or unwinding with a good movie or TV show. I’m always looking for new ways to blend my creative interests with my professional skills.​
